The Baltimore Wire Radio Show:  Broadcasting live on Thursday @ 9-10pm on ds106 radio.

This was such a fun project.   Our group consisted of the members:  Lakisha Mahone, Desa Stone, and myself, Melinda Albrycht.  We each worked hard to put together a radio show as if it was a radio program broadcasted at the time of The Wire in Baltimore.  We put together ads, traffic reports, crime reports, etc. all as if it was occuring in Baltimore.  It really helped to have sounds from Freesound.org.  We used the following sounds:

There were two from Zagi2:  Sonic phrase intro and three hits  These were used as the background for all of our segments.

We used for our main introduction:  mansardian:  News-signature-long

For my Carcetti ad (and Desa’s crime report) we used:  nofeedbak:  Policeroomtwo and multimax2121: police-siren
