Uno, Dos, Tres, Cuatro

Well four weeks down and I am still present! This week tested my capabilities of what I was made of and could handle. With making other commitments that would take me away from the space of using my tools to complete the assignments expected of me in DS106, I was forced to double time it and work ahead as much as possible. I knocked out my viewings of The Wire, completed my reflections of Jennifer Ralston’s interview, participated in a live tweet discussion (which presented some technology problems with just joining the group), and proceeded to complete my daily assignments prior to Friday as I was due to leave at noon on Friday with a Sociology group to Tennessee. I completed an audio assignment but would be left with two to do when I returned Sunday.

I returned Sunday night completed exhausted, left with only Monday to complete my tasks it would be nothing but DS106 all day. I will say this much, having that extension on due dates was a safe haven for sure. I look forward to picking back up with episodes of The Wire, I have not enjoyed the absence of them. I am definitely glad this week is over but only because my other commitments have been fulfilled as well. I now know not to fill my plate with additional commitments until this class has concluded!
