“A Lyrical Span Is What The Fans Demandin’”

I enjoyed the eighth episode of the fourth season of The Wire. There were a couple of things that jumped out and really caught my attention. The first of these things id Herc as a character. I never really understood how important his role was to the whole show until this episode. In a way he resembles McNulty with his persistence and dedication to a task. I think what really got my attention was watching Herc come in contact with the new “targets” which is the Stanfield gang. All the way up until now it’s been McNulty and maybe a few others, but Herc is all over the place now. I just see him all over the Stanfield case and I can’t wait to see how his character evolves further. The other thing that really stood out to me was Marlo. He is so confident and I just really get bad vibes from him and his right hand man Chris. Chris seems to be so rough and rugged that I think it could potentially get in the way of how careful he is and work against. I just don’t think things are going to continue to go or end well for the Stanfield gang.
