One of the things that stood out to me in the 6th episode of the second season of The Wire was Omar’s testimony. It was interesting to see him in that position. That being said when someone’s fate is in his hand I guess you can assume the worst. He has been involved with so many fatal and negative things that it’s obvious what will happen. The other thing that caught my attention was McNulty and his wife. It’s really weird to see him working to be back in her life since we only received minimal background information on their relationship. McNulty seems like a family man so I’m so ready to see where this goes. The thing that caught me off guard was D’Angelo’s killing. Right when he decided to change his life for the better he gets killed. It’s really sad but it goes to show that you’re never really safe. It gives the audience yet another real life lesson.
