“Every Day We Fight The System”

The first episode of season three brought back some good ol’ memories for me. I was so interested and ready to type as soon as McNulty walked in on the discussion between Pearlman and Daniels. One thing that I used to say about McNulty is that he is stubborn, but not in a bad way. I guess you can say he’s persistent. When he heard Pearlman and Daniels talking about giving up on the wire tap I felt like there was a flashback with McNulty. He starts explaining that they can’t give up and I can only think about how hard he was working on the Barksdale gang in season one. I think this is why McNulty is one of my favorite characters. Another thing that captured my attention in the episode was Major Bunny Colvin. Bunny also has to be one of my favorite characters. It started when he was questioning the new officers. I guess it’s the actor and how well he acts, but he just makes me feel that he is so wise. When he was talking to Carver and Herc and getting on them about how they arrested Tyrell, I loved it. He just keeps me interested and it’s almost like a little giggle every time I see Bunny. The last thing that caught my attention in the episode was Bubbles. I don’t understand what he is trying to do with his life. It was a question that I had been asking myself for the longest. To me it’s just like one minute he wants to get clean and the next he’s right back to his bad habit. It just makes me wonder about how his character will end up.
