For my daily create today I put my favorite song into a photograph. I love both “La Vie en Rose” and flowers and thus combined them both in this daily create and had a lot of fun with it. I thought this song fit well for visual week as well as it makes you imagine a different way of seeing the world “through rose-colored glasses.”

My favorite version of this song is done by the amazing Louis Armstrong, though Edith Piaf wins for French versions. The idea of the song is just beautiful in itself, as is the language. “When you press me to your hear/I’m in a world apart/ A world where roses bloom” is my idea of a sanctuary indeed.
