Look Listen Analyze

For my Look Listen Analyze I decided to use Season Three of The Wire episode eight. For this assignment I use the scene where Stringer telling Avon the truth about what happened to D’Angelo.  If I could give this assignment a tittle like all other episodes has a title I would give it “I bleed red, you bleed green”, because Avon was telling Stinger the difference between them two.
Notes Taken By Analyze the Camera Work:The camera zooming in adds intensity very much so.  When the camera shows the different heights between Avon and String it shows fear. A lot of times the camera is behind stinger with a view of avon or behind avon with a view of stringer, showing that they are having some type of dispute. A lot of times you will you will see only one charter at a time, not showing the faces of both characters. When I watched the video with the sound off I see a lot of little things that stick out to me, how there is a watch on Avon’s wrist, I saw the tag on the pillow that was on the bed that Avon sat on, a lot of things that I didn’t see when the sound was on. Maybe because I’m focusing on what each person is saying I’m not paying close  attention to the details in the picture.

Notes Taken By Analyze the Audio Track: Great Diction. When Stringer and Avon was talking and they wanted to show fear to each other, they will try to have a baser tone than another. They talk very load to each other when they got upset with each other. I have to say I get very more details when I Analyze the Camera then when I Analyze the Audio. But on thing that I realized when Analyzing the audio track was that when they got into a brawl they made a lot of grunting noise as if they were stronger than each other. At times where there wasn’t much noise  (at the end) I wasn’t quite sure what was going on, thats the lack that you get when Analyze the Audio Track then Analyzing the Camera Work.

Notes Taken By Putting it All Together: After Analyze the Camera Work and Analyze the Audio Track there was a lot of things that picked up by watching Analyze the Camera Work and Anaylze the Audio Track that I could put together when I watched it again watching the cameral and listing to the Audio.
