“The Only Soul That Won’t Sin”

This was a very long but short two weeks in ds106. I don’t really know how it went by so fast I feel like just yesterday I was signing up to have McNulty for the final project. It was a very eventful two weeks I can tell you that. Let’s look at my work.

Final Project:

Basically what I did this week was set up my accounts for the final project. I was a little slow doing this because I really didn’t know what exactly I was doing so I waited a while before I started. After Professor Groom gave us a little push I understood what I should be doing. It was fun making the accounts because I did it all under McNUlty with a McNulty email address and I thought that was fun. In the weeks to come I’ll be updating my websites so stay tuned.

Daily Creates:

These daily creates were all fun creating. I got to express so many emotions. I had a good time laughing. I got a little homesick. Most importantly I got to be extra creative and kind of impressed myself either with my work or with how far my imagination went. I hope you enjoy my daily creates because I have a heck of a time creating them.

These two weeks worth of episodes were pretty interesting. I had a lot to say about these episodes. There were a lot of things that came to be that I anticipated but just never expected to actually see. So from that point I was a little shocked over the course of the weeks. There was also a lot of things that I thought wouldn’t happen. If not either of those there were just some points in the show where I had to really think about the progression of some of the characters. There are a lot of messages that are being sent out by the writers, directors, and producers and it’s really nice to be able to break things down at your own level to see what you can find in the episodes. Take a look at my responses and let me know what you think.

Video Assignments:

This week was amazing in terms of video assignments. I really enjoyed the swede video because I knew it would make people laugh. When my roommate saw it he was laughing extremely hard. That’s how I knew we captured what we wanted to. For the wire essay I really enjoyed explaining my thoughts on an evident theme that we see throughout the whole series that involves one of my favorite characters McNulty. I don’t really like to talk that much on that level about the show but I found some comfort this time and I really enjoyed myself. For the other two video assignments it was great to reminisce about the past and I hope that you guy seeing my videos makes you want to think about ourselves in the past. It’s really great once you actually stop for a while and think about your past. I loved these assignments.
