About

Wire 106 is a course being taught at the University of Mary Washington during the Fall 2014 semester. This course is a themed-version of the open, online digital storytelling course ds106.us. This course will be exploring digital storytelling through the lens of the HBO series The Wire. The idea is to spend 15 weeks as a community watching the series and creating digital responses around the various characters, themes, situations, and references at the heart of the series. A sense of intellectual and creative exploration into narrative and an ongoing response through various media, i.e. photography, audio, design, video, code, and mashups.
