“Y’all Ain’t Real Spitters, Y’all Lips Chapped”

The seventh episode of the fourth season of The Wire was very interesting. I really enjoyed watching this episode. One of the things that really stuck out to me was Bubbles and how he seems a little lost. Not only has he returned to the streets but he can’t seem to get anything together or keep it in order. To me it seems like Sherrod was his way of keeping himself together. Now that he doesn’t have Sherrod he’s going through it. The other thing about Bubbles is him and his “bully.” I don’t really understand how Bubbles hasn’t tried to retaliate or do something to protect himself. I know that he went to a cop but he should have known what was going to come of that. I just feel bad for ol’ Bubbles. I hope towards the end of the season he gets it together. Something else that got me interested in the episode was Namond. I am really interested in seeing what happens with him because if all of the pressure he is under. Being put on the corner is different from choosing to be on the corner so I want to see how he handles himself. There is just so much going on in his world that I;m interested in see how he manages his way through it all.
