For my second DS106 Mash-Up/Remix assignment, the generator remixed “What’s the Meme?” with DS106-ercizing, to create this assignment (3 stars). I had to create a meme that also advertised DS106. My issue with this assignment is that I also wanted to include “The Wire”, so instead, I decided to create 2 separate memes.

To create my memes, I used a Meme Generator found online which allows you to upload your own images or use popular meme images. For my first meme, I found a picture of the actress that plays Felicia “Snoop” Pearson on The Wire out of character. My jaw dropped. She doesn’t even look like the same person!

For my second meme I wanted to use the popular Willy Wonka meme, but add something only DS106 students could relate to on it…

I think some of us know what it’s like when you’re behind on watching The Wire and need to catch up!
