“And We Ashing Off Your Furniture”

The 11th episode of the fourth season of The Wire was another good one. I enjoyed it and I was interested the whole way through. One thing that was interesting to me was the interaction between McNulty and Bodie. It was really odd but definitely very interesting. I can see Bodie wanting out of any participation with the Stanfield gang. I think the reason is just because the Stanfield gang doesn’t handle business like the Barkdsdale gang did. What’s weird about that is Bodie still wants to be on the streets he just doesn’t want to be a part of the Stanfield gang. That could be because the street life is all he had ever really knew so he see no other path in his life. The other thing that I found interesting in this episode was Michael. As the young boys take center stage for the end of the season I see Michael being a vital character through the rest of the series. He is starting to live that drug/street/gang life and I don’t think it will end well for him. The only reason I say that is because he’s falling under the arm of Marlo and like I’ve mentioned previously, the Stanfield gang is pretty careless
