This week was about mashups, remixes and our final project. This week I submitted my two daily create ideas and did the two tutorials as well as completed the assignments.
The Wire
Episode 5,6,7
The disappearance of Lex in a alleyway is getting more attention from police and the corner boys. Namond asserts that Chris is turning his victims into zombies. Prez induces new rules in math class he offers them rewards for good behavior but the students that disrupt the class will have detention. Turns out his detention is packed with misbehaved students. They are “stood kids” and “corner kids”. The churchgoers gather for services two days before the primary election. Franklin offers a sermon from exodus about the careful selection of leaders from the people. Cassette campaigns in downtown with Wilson Carcertti meet with his campaign staff. Omar has two men strap, two thick books around his chest and back to protect him. When he was in line in the cafeteria a inmate tried to stab him, but the books saved him and he stabbed the inmate instead. Then he makes a phone call to the police saying he owes a favor.
Episodes 8,9,10
Calvin is distracting a classmate so Prez calls him out on the answer and he gets it right. Michael gets home to find out that his mother sold food and groceries for drug money. The disappointment on Michael’s face really summed up his relationship with his mom. Poot gets back on the streets after a 15-month stint in prison. Bodie told him about Marlo, but Poot doesn’t mind the changes in leadership. Herc and Dozerman come and look for little Kevin to question Lex’s murder. No one tells their names. When they work the corner Carver and Colicchio catch the crew unprepared. Tommy Carcetti has won the election. Davis believes that Burrell’s race is his trump car, but tells him to impress the mayor with police work. Wilson reveals that they hope that his supporters will be swayed if they attract a better candidate.
