Cartoonize Bubba 1 star

For this assignment, we were asked to cartoonize a picture of a pet. I decided to do Ziggy’s pet duck because I thought the scene where he buys the duck was hilarious. Although it didn’t last long, it was very amusing to watch Ziggy parade his duck in its diamond collar. It was a way for Ziggy to show he had money without bragging.

To complete this assignment, I used befunky.com. It was relatively easy to do. The hardest part was to get the right amount of colors and lines. I decided to go with more lines in the picture to show the emotions in Ziggy’s face. His facial expression is very different in this scene than any other. I think he looks like he is enamored with the duck. I found it easier to increase the sharpness before cartoonizing the photo. This made the lines stand out more in the cartoon. The most difficult part of this assignment was trying not to make the duck look possessed. The editing tools kept making its eyes look red and demon-like.

Also, because my dog’s name is Bubba, I had to complete a true “Cartoonize Bubba” staring Bubba himself.
