The thing that was the most interesting to me about the first episode of season two was how the Barksdale gang continued to operate after many of them had been imprisoned. Stringer has everyone doing what he wants. Avon is like one of those people that you hear about leading their gang from prison. Literally everything that he tells Stringer guts pushed down through everyone he has working for him. Its amazing that they still can operate without so many of their members. McNulty’s demotion also intrigued me. After he put so much effort into the Barksdale investigation it was weird to see him working somewhere different.
