I was totally blown away by the 7th episode of the second season of The Wire. The whole Barksdale organization has got me captivated. It is crazy that Stringer was behind the killing of D’Angelo. The setup was amazing. In the last episode that Stringer visited Avon he had me convinced that he loved D’Angelo. I just did not see this coming. If anything I thought that Avon was the one behind the killing. My mind just couldn’t handle it. I’m also interested because while all of this is going on the organization continues function. You would think that a group of people that has gone through as much as the Barksdale gang has that they would be totally dysfunctional. I’m ready to see whether or not Stringer make more power moves so that he can fully takeover the Barksdale organization.
