It’s a video type of week

This week we focused on reading movies and creating videos. At first I was a little hesitant, but in the end it was not bad at all! Creating the videos was actually kinda fun and entertaining.

The Wire

Look, Listen, Analyze

Episode 8- The fight between Avon and Stringer was bound to happen, so much has occurred and they are on two different pages. What surprised me was Stringer actually admitted to having D’Angelo killed. McNulty was on the correct about D’Angelo not committing suicides. I did my look, listen and analyze assignment to this scene when Stringer was mad at Avon and told him the news. Things start to be heating up between the police and the politics.

Episode 9- McNulty yet again shown neglecting his role as a dad by running as soon as Teresa called. Oh Prez.. he never can seem to catch a break, between his family life and then his mess ups on the job. He messed up again on the job and killed a cop. The scene where they zoomed in on the bloody badge was really eye opening. Hamsterdam no longer seems to be working because the violence is starting to build up.

Episode 10- Brother Mouzone returns to Baltimore, which can only lead to trouble. Things are starting to heat up between Avon, Stringer, and Marlo, as is the case. Avon refuses to accept Stringer’s advice, this makes me wonder about how they are going to play out. The major case unit is figuring out a new way to get a wiretap on the Barksdale organization. I was happy to see Cutty getting his life back to what he wants. I can’t help but wonder why they are still focusing on him..
