“There’s No Break When I Got You Pinned In”

What I was thinking about nonstop while watching the 2nd episode of season three of The Wire was the Barksdale organization and how it continues to run. In one of my earlier posts I said something about knowing the struggle that the gang was going through. I saw how their “package” was weaker and they were losing clientele. Now when I was watching this episode I see that they have a new, much stronger package and have regained some of that clientele. That is one of the things that keeps me tuned into the show. I’m always anticipating and wondering what will happen next to a member of the organization. Another thing that I see is Bunk and McNulty drinking together. McNulty loves to drink and that’s his coping mechanism. I forgot that he didn’t know about D’Angelo dying so when he found out I was intrigued. I could tell right away that he didn’t think that D’Angelo killed himself. Just as he’s done many times before, I believe McNulty won’t stop until he finds out the real cause of death.
