Today’s daily create was a little confusing for me and Jessica to understand. I’ve only used Vimeo once or twice and that was through random Facebook Posts. After some advice from @mdvfunes on Twitter, I should interpret the assignment myself, which hopefully turns out to be successful. Basically what I need to do is watch video on Vimeo then write a poem about it. I’m really good with poems…Especially the one i wrote about McNulty being drunk here. Any who, I went to the Vimeo homepage and this video caught my attention because of the loading screen which had various colors. I’m like a child, vibrant colors and different shapes interest me, ha! So here’s the video itself. It’s “2033” by an artist of the name LEON. I think they’re or he is French? Maybe i’l google him later.

You should watch it, it’s actually pretty cool! Now, the most creative part of this assignment: Writing a poem for it! Here’s my poem.

 

Poem:

Confused and intrigued, the sound got me

Ladies appear from all directions

Dressed in black, class entails

Purples, blues, pinks, and reds cover my eyes

Memories of my childhood connect to my favorite kaleidoscope

Foreign words spring to my ears

Unfamiliar but familiar at the same time

Blue, White, and Red enter my mind

French, French, is that French?

Words flow in a cohesive matter

A little rap, a little pop, another unfamiliar style

2033, the future is coming.
