Today I practiced making a radio bumper for the daily create!! I did not know how to do this and was pretty scared, but I worked on GarageBand for a bit to figure it out. First, I looked over the Beatnik terms and wrote a script. I decided to do an advice-type bumper because I was having a bad day and needed some of my own advice. I spoke through headphones in GarageBand in a room with an echo to make it sound cool. Then I put some beats music behind my voice and lowered the tone so I could still be heard. I then exported to itunes and uploaded to SoundCloud! I’m really glad I did this because now I sort of know how to make a radio bumper and it was good practice for the group project.
