Harvey Mackay once said, “Talent is God-given; be humble. Fame is man-given; be thankful. Conceit is self-given; be careful.” Everyone’s got to be thankful for everything. You’re living a life, you should be thankful. You’re breathing, you should be thankful. You get to live in a house and eat everyday, you should be thankful. There are tons of people out there in the world that don’t get to live in a house or eat a lot everyday, that’s why we should be thankful. Jay completed a writing assignment (2.5 stars) of what he’s thankful for. He had to write out in 10 seconds of what he was thankful for. Jay’s thankful for:

-Being best friends mostly with McNulty and Bunk

-Working in a place he likes

-Eating food anywhere he wants

-Having a boss that isn’t rude to him (Rawls) like he is to McNulty

-Being a Sergeant

-Having everyone as his friend at his work and no one dislikes him
