Carcetti looks so tiny and silly next to these three big, bulky guys. He seemed so out of his element and everything he had to say seemed very pointless and obvious.

I love the juxtaposition of these shots.

Maybe I’m just a sucker for these graveyard shots, but I love the contrast of colors.

What is with the picture of the cat?

I realized that there haven’t been a lot of scenes in bars this season. I guess this is because there’s been less McNulty and less drinking on McNulty’s part.

I never thought I’d say this, but I love these small moments with McNulty. He’s really silly and happy to be acting in a way that he think is better. I thought this moment was hilarious.

The colors, lighting, and staging of this shot are very powerful. It definitely gives off that zombie apocalypse vibe that the kids have been building around what’s going on.

A nice little surveillance shot.

The colors and staging of this shot are really nice. I’m concerned about how things are going to go now that the father is back. I got really bad vibes from him.

It’s rare to see a shot like this when it isn’t the season finale. I think this just goes to show how dead the detail has become.

This is such a pretty location and sort of a sad moment to see the nail gun we saw purchased at the start of the season be tossed away.
