The cop breaking Donut’s fingers might be one of the worst things I’ve seen on this show.

Everyone in this shot is wearing the same shade of tan. also, the way Poot’s hat is worn and folded, it looks a bit like Peter Pan, which sort of suggests that these boys never quite grow up.

I like the lighting in this shot and how they are in shadow and the view outside the window is well lit.

This is such a brightly painted building. It’s been a while since the colors were this bright frequently throughout the show.

For some reason, Bubbles reminds me of Ziggy in this shot.

Screen Shot 2014-11-22 at 4.34.12 PM

The colors in this shot are very warm and muted.

Screen Shot 2014-11-22 at 4.39.58 PM

This shot is well staged.

This shot after Bodie realizes what’s happened to Little Kevin is a great way of expressing the emotions without having to show the actor’s face.

I like how Omar’s face is framed by the headrest and the rearview mirror.

Screen Shot 2014-11-22 at 4.50.20 PM

This is another well staged shot that manages to get everyone in it without it seeming unrealistic or awkwardly arranged.

A surveillance shot, however this time it is of something totally harmless.

I think Bubbles’ move will hopefully teach Herc a lesson about how he treats CIs, especially one as special and revered as Bubbles.

This was a great moment for Colvin to see that the problem won’t end with helping these kids, but that the parents have a huge role in how these kids turn out and the way they are lead to behave.

McNulty’s sons have grown up so much! Their appearance in this scene really helped to show how everyone’s grown over these four seasons.

I definitely think that Chris has had some personal experience with being preyed on by older men based on the amount of punching and kicking as well as the rage that exuded from him as he took out Bug’s dad.

Justin’s move to have Bug’s dad taken out is yet another example of how these parents are affecting their kids’ choices and leading them to act the way they do.

Also, Bug’s dad sort of looks zombie-ish with all the blood on his face. It’ll be interesting to see where things go when it comes to discovering his body.
