For my first inspire, I chose Jessica’s video of the Emperor’s New Groove in 5 Seconds.

Most things are hard to summarize in 5 seconds, but she managed to pick the right clips so that anyone can get the gist of the movie, whether or not they’ve actually seen it. I love the music that she put with it as well.

It inspires me to think critically about how big things can be whittled down into a few seconds and still represent the piece well. Editing can be challenging, but taking the time to work hard and narrow things down to what matters can really pay off.
