Seeing is Believing

This assignment which was to be done within 20 minutes I accomplished while accompanying my household to family’s house to take part in Sunday football, there was plenty of material since my aunt and uncle reside in what I consider the sticks in King George! The rules follow in the bullet list below:

  • Someone else’s hand (or paw)
  • Some trees express enormous soul. Find and photograph that special tree.
  • Take a photo dominated by a single color.
  • Make a photo of something that emphasizes one color much more than any others in the photo.
  • Make a photo of an outdoor scene free of any human artifacts.
  • Take a photo of a food being served or eaten in an unconventional way.
  • Make an artistic closeup photo of an ear- human, animal, whatever.

The first pic was my Boo thang’s hand because I adore the loving touch that he is able to bring into my life as well as enhance the lives of all he comes in contact with.

It reflects strength, hard work, and protection as well!

The next is what I would call the tree of many lives! It stands seemingly with integrity; demanding that its presence be not only respected but appreciated, and is one that my uncle has happened to avoid when chopping down the many that he has.

It stands tall, erect, and domineering. A classic example of what it is to just “BE”, a model for all to see.

Then I peddled around the property in search of a scene with a color that would stand out to me. it required attracting my immediate attention. I looked far and wide finding nothing interesting enough to my sight; then I looked down and up at what seemed to be the most happy color to see, YELLOW!

Sure the white was angelic but the yellow was definitely eye candy to me.

This pic I snagged while watching to see what my uncle was smoking on his green egg, his new barbecue grill . I at first wanted the pic of the “The Green Egg” but when he opened it to add those cherry wood smoking chips, the timbers shouted out to me! Well, it could have been the heat but the timbers were hypnotic to me.

The red here is emphasized whether it be from giving off heat or that it stands alone from the black of the timbers. It was definitely emphasized in my eyes as a visual.

Then I had to find an outdoor scene free of human artifacts but the blitz said nothing about animals. So these little creatures below ran a strong competition for first in my search of a scene of nature being natural! If you look closely you can see the spider dangling from his web…he wouldn’t stop spinning so I could get a good glamour shot.

I’m not sure what these little creatures are doing; to me it was something I at that moment would not have minded switching places to do. Chillax’n is what it seemed they were doing, just minding there own business, and in general ordinary ole hanging out.

The next picture came by coincidence….of the mother freakin’ JELLLOOO Shots! yeeeaaa boi. So I was givin’ a beautiful, green, chilled, gelatinous jello shot full of spirits from my uncle to be eaten from a condiment cup pictured below

How more unconventional can you get? I mean sucking jello shots from a condiment cup useful for ketchup, tartar sauce, and other delectable sauces. This one was called ‘Juicy Fruit’ voted this years best…..a KEEPER.

My final pic which became close to keeping me from finishing within the time frame allotted was of an ear, symbolic of what we used opposite to what we use when visualizing. “Lend me an ear” I asked my uncle. I was sure to capture this shot with my watch included so all could see I conquered the photoblitz with time to spare.
