This was such a short week for ds106. It was jam-packed with a lot of cool and interesting things. Let’s get right to my week.

I did a write up daily create and it was so much fun. I enjoyed playing with my writing and the whole time I was doing so I had my audience in mind. I was thinking to myself I wonder what everyone else did but this time I didn’t look. I wanted to be completely original so I just started writing. I feel like this activity allowed me to be creative in a very fun way. I wanted to tell a short story that would have my readers guessing and anticipating. So at the end I threw in a little twist. Radio Show:

This week the members of my group all recorded our parts for the show. This was very interesting and a lot of fun. I think it was fun for me because I got to collaborate with Demi and we just had a good time recording. There was never a dull moment. I was a little worried about how the whole thing would work out in the beginning but I never thought that it wouldn’t be good. I used Audacity to record and absolutely loved it. I love editing recordings to make them sound the way that I want them to. It just feels so rewarding when I finally get the right sound and the right timing. Meredith did a great job putting the whole show together and I think it came together nicely. Take a listen and tell me what you thought of our show.

The Wire always keeps me interested and I never get bored during an episode. I’m always anticipating something but never really sure what it is. My mind does a lot of thinking while I’m watching the episodes and I hope I’m not missing out on anything that I’m supposed to be getting. There are so many characters that I look forward to seeing every week and I know that they won’t fail to get my attention. The Barksdale organization has really got me thinking and never lets me stop. The show is so interesting and a lot of fun to watch.
