GIFS GIFS GIFS
So after initially spending about 3 hours trying to figure out how to make my first gif, I finally got it down and I am a gif-making pro now. Our assignment was to make 6 gifs from an episode of The Wire to summarize what that episode was about. I chose Episode 3, The Buys. You can check out my finished product here! I downloaded the episode and used MPEG Streamclip to get the scenes I wanted. Then opened the layers with GIMP, added text to a few and tada!

The Wire
Spoiler alert much!!!! I knew the whole Kima thing was coming thanks to #ds106 on twitter, but it still broke my heart. Avon’s in jail, Bubbs is trying to stay clean and McNulty is the same old smart ass – he’s my favorite. I’m loving this show and I can’t wait to watch season 2.
