I followed this great tutorial for the Chipmunk Style assignment

(2.5 stars, but I think it should be 3 since it took me a while)

Process

I used MPEG stream clip to trim the scene that I wanted. I chose the one where Omar is talking about how he almost got an old woman killed in a shooting. I picked this scene because I thought it would be funny to make such a serious scene sound silly.

I downloaded Camtasia to record my screen.

I exported the audio from the recording into Audacity. I used the change pitch effect and increased it 40% to get the Chipmunk effect.

On Camtasia, I deleted the original audio and added in my new audio with the chipmunk effect.

I uploaded my finished project to youtube and here’s what I have!
