One thing that caught my attention in the seventh episode of the third season of The Wire was the way Daniels switched the focus of the police to Stringer Bell. Its weird to me because I feel like McNulty always leads the charge when there is a new suspect or person of interest. I feel this way because just a couple of episodes ago he was following Stringer Bell and now Daniels decides to full on pursue Stringer. I just feel like McNulty is always able to get the whole force behind him to go after someone. It may be a parallel in a way but just not an obvious one. I don’t know if I’m thinking about it the right way so let me know. The other thing that caught my attention in the episode was Brianna contacting Maurice Levy. I’m wondering if it will turn into something bigger than what it seems. Stringer seems to seem that it will and thinks that he will be able to handle it. I don’t understand how Stringer is able to deal with all of these things going on at once. I wonder how much stress is on his mind and if he’ll crack under pressure.
