“I Sent The Postcards So You Know Its True”

The thing that I found interesting about the sixth episode is Avon Barksdale. The way he controls his men is amazing in a sense. They all obey him and they kind of remind me of puppets. The fear they have from him amuses me. They never second guess what he says and don’t want to let him down. Even Stringer Bell follows his instructions in spite of being so tough and leading the gang for so long. I kind of like Stringer being second in command only because he tried to make his on moves and act so tough. I wonder if Avon tries to give him a little leeway because he knows that above anyone else Stringer would be the one to try to do something. It’s a lot to think about and it’s very well played out by the writers, producers, and directors. The other thing that had me interested is Omar talking to Bunk. Again I’m sitting here thinking what in the world is Omar up to. I can’t tell what his intentions are but I know the are by no means good. The way he goes from assisting the police to being on the streets just gets me and honestly it’s keeping me interested.
