“The Wire”

So the first show “The Target” I definitely agree with Paul I wouldn’t consider it as a cop show. Yes it has cops in the show 24/7 but the “Cop show is being used as a theme to tell a larger story”.  I wonder what the class thinks is this TV show consider a “Cop Show”. …. It was very ironic how this TV show was called was “The Detail” when details really matter in show, especially how the Witness from the Barksdale case was killed. All the details really matter, when trying to figure out who killed the witness from the Barksdale case. When they interrogated the suspect and got him to write the thank-you letter, it was a smart idea but like what was said in the show, how are they going to use that in the court room, it was useless. I didn’t really understand why the cops went up to those people and was cussing and fussing with them and then when they hurt the little boy (Not Cool ! ) I have to say though this was my favorite episode out of all of them. Agreeing with Groom particularly on this show “that couch” played a major role in these episodes that I have watched so far. Going into episode three “The Buys”, where they talked about the game of chess and related the game of chess to selling drugs, I have to say that was very interesting and how he related the two, who would of knew. In this episode the cops are still looking for Avon Barksdale! Going into the oh so famous “Old Cases”! The one thing that I read in Paul bond was about the orange color jump suites and then the orange color couch. I didn’t really pay that much mine to that but Paul pointed out a very interesting aspect about that. I feel that ; that aspect is very is very crucial. I took it as “orange” being a significant color as Paul said the color harmony. For season five “The pager”, where we find out that there is word that there is a snitch in the group! Also like Paul said in his post , Mirrors, Mirrors, and more Mirrors first with Avon Barksdale and then with Brandon when he tries on the neckless. With episode six and seven where we now find Brandon’s body  discovered and they start with getting the wiretap running. Most Definitely Needed. Then going into episode eight “Lessons”, where there were many lessons being taught in this episode. The last episode, Episode 9 “Game Day” where Syndor and Prez begin the money trail. In this episode we also see where Omar tries to kill Avon but instead his is hurt himself.

Cant Wait to Watch the Rest !!
