Here is a sound story that I created in Audacity using sounds I downloaded from Freesound.org.

After searching through a bunch of sounds trying to figure out what I wanted to make my sound story about, I ran across all the dog related noises and I decided to recreate the simple moment of letting a dog inside. It was a bit time consuming to sift through all the sounds available for dog barks. Other sounds were simpler to pick out, like a door opening or closing. I got the clip of rain outside a house from a longer sound recording.

I’m not sure if all the different dog noises sound like they come from the same dog as the clips were from different dogs and not all dogs sound the same, even when they’re shaking off water or running around a house. Hopefully I conveyed the story well enough though.
