For my first daily create for this week I decided to do the zeugma poem. I didn’t really know what this was at first so I looked at some of the other responses to see what my classmates had done. I finally started to understand what it was and was able to create one. Before I started I thought to myself, “How can I be most creative?”
Once I started I wanted to do something that could give off a powerful message. Immediately eyes and doors popped into my mind so I went from there. I didn’t really know if I was going for a particular rhyme scheme but once I got half way through I was able to bring it all around so that at least two lines rhymed. I felt that it was very original and had a lot of fun doing it. Take a look and let me know what you thought.
