I love how Paul took a simple detail from The Wire–Ziggy’s duck–and made something smart, creative, and comical about it.

The orange, black, and white color scheme really catches your eye. The photoshopped duck with the bling collar makes for a very simple design.

The phrases “a dandy duck’s guide to bling or not to bling” and “dockworkers are manly but their fowls can be fancy” incorporates smart wordplay with references to the show.

This piece inspires me to create things that critique or comment on other pieces aesthetically and verbally. It’s well thought out and well executed.
