Wait Professor Groom and Bond did an interview with THE Jennifer Ralston?

Russell Baker once said, “Listen once in a while. It’s amazing what you can hear.” When Professor Groom and Bond did the live radio show to tell us what our assignment is this week, I was like thinking that doing audio would be awesome and then when I heard to basically make a reflection blog post of Professor Groom and Bond did an interview with Jennifer Ralston in it and I was basically like this.

When Professor Groom posted the assignment this week, I was just wow. That’s amazing Professor Groom and Bond did an interview with Jennifer Ralson in it. I enjoyed listening to the interview. I really did. I never knew how much of a difference by watching and listening is. I liked how when she said basically when she dealt with a scene that was too noisy, it’s better to add more noise. You know to me I like it because after listening just to audio of the episode and hearing the background noise, it made me so interested to hear more of it. I was like thinking “No wonder why she made this TV series that amazing.” Especially when I listened to the scene of Kima going undercover without watching it, I was like thinking how much work she did to make it sound awesome.

Like what from I remember is her scene, that the cops were trying to listen to her when she was in the car with the bugs she placed in the car. Kima said key things to keep them of where they are. Then the dealer came into the car and turned up the music loud, it made the cops not able to hear what they were saying and lose where Kima was. To me, it made me nervous but somewhat excited to see what is going to happen next. In other news, I felt bad for the way Bubbles found out Kima got shot in the next episode of after getting beaten up by the cop since he was trying to contact Kima.

I remembered that one episode in Season 1, I forgot which episode was it but like after he went to his sister’s place to reconnect with her and stuff, I remembered he sat on the bench and was looking around and I was like “What is he doing?” but then after doing audio this week I remembered that episode clear and like tried picturing it but I only thought of like just the listening portion not the visualizing portion. Listening to the background was like “Woah O.O” I remembered what Professor Groom told me on Twitter once.

I especially like what Jen Ralston said. To sum up what she said, it’s like if there’s something quiet, you don’t leave it quiet. There’s more to it than it meets the eye. There are tons of details when listening to the quiet noise than listening to the big noise. I actually thought that the interview was awesome and both professors were so lucky to interview THE Jennifer Ralston but it’s awesome that we were able to hear the interview and understand better of what we should do from now on. Such as for me, I’m going to start listening to the episode first and then watch it afterwards to see the difference because I just love surprises.
