Daily Creates
This week we had to complete 2 daily creates.
- Make A Winter Drawing – For this daily create we had to make a drawing of winter. I decided to make a snowman and a Christmas tree along with some snowflakes.
- Take the Thirty Challenge – for this daily create I decided to fill the 30 circle with NFL team logos. There are 32 teams in the NFL so I have all but 2 of them.
Video Discussion
I decided to complete one of the video discussion this week. Professor Groom, Professor Bond, Syd, and I had a good 45 minute discussion about The Wire Season 3 Episode 6, Home Coming. Each of us shared a few screenshots and discussed our thoughts on them. We provided one another with insight about the episode that we may have seen differently. It was my first successful Google hangout and I was interested to see the final product. It is pretty cool how whoever is talking gets put on the main screen then it switches it. Professor Bond had some really interesting points of small details in the episode that may have messages behind them. It was a great discussion and made me look at the episode and future episodes more in depth.
Radio Show
This week we aired our TDSN Radio Show. From the tweets I read and the reflections it seemed overall it was enjoyed but the listeners. We put a lot of work into it and I am happy it turned out. Listening to it now I hear things that I would change but I am happy with the finished show.
I also listened to The Wire Buyers show and reflected on it. My reflection is here. I enjoyed the show and it was a lot different from what my group put together. The Wire Buyers audio production was really good. They had so many separate audio clips that seamlessly flowed together. The show was good just different from the radio shows I have listened too.

Inspired
- SydTheK1d’s Assignment Cartoonize Bubba was one piece of work that inspired me. I saw her work and her cartoon of her dog and it made me remember a picture that I had of my dog and I and I thought it would be cool if it was cartoonized.
- Blindside Archive’s assignment of Row Row Polyphony also inspired me. It helped me decide what song I wanted to do an harmonize. I had a hard time finding a new current song that would work well so I looked at some other ones that were completed to get some ideas and I saw his.
- Letz Chop It Up also had an assignment that inspired me. I didn’t create and assignment from the one they created but it made me think to focus on some little detail in things because those little things may have big meaning behind them.
