After things went sour on the docks for Nick, he ran off to New York and assumed a new identity of George Mendez. He became a prison warden in a women’s prison and was able to unleash the fury and frustration he felt toward females after his own failed relationship. You can see him channeling his inner Frank Sobotka in his interactions with the inmates.
